  2. Take 1 medium apple, I used a Michigan Red apple
  3. Prepare 2 teaspoon cinnamon sugar, its just equal parts of each

Apple chutney is a heart-warming topping for pork in this family-friendly dinner of spicy, boneless chops. This is a staple at our house. I use thicker chops and grill them outside. I also use a little more spice than called for.

Steps to make Apple stuffed with spiced pork:
  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Cut the apple in half from stem to blossom
  3. Carefully scoop the core out. Just where the seeds are. Discard the seeded area
  4. With a spoon, carefully carve some of the flesh out. Chop the flesh into small pieces. Keep the halves whole.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over all the apple chopped pieces and flesh parts of the halves
  6. Mix the pieces and spiced pork together
  7. Add the pork mixture to apple halves, pressing gently into cavity of apple halves.
  8. Put pork side down in an oven safe dish
  9. Roast for 20 minutes
  10. Let sit 5 minutes. Serve I hope you enkoy!

I use thicker chops and grill them outside. I also use a little more spice than called for. Pairs nicely with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Apples and stuffing mix provides a wonderful addition to these pork chops - perfect for dinner. Dried cherries can be substituted for the dried cranberries.
