  1. Take baking tray (I use a 10inch by 10inch) line using butter, then sprinkle breadcrumbs enough to cover bottom set aside for later.

  3. Take off the heat add the eggs 1 at a time and stir in between then add the Parmigiano, oil, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Take baking tray from step 1 place the rise mixture spread evenly then sprinkle more breadcrumbs and Parmigiano on top place into preheated oven (190) for 25-30 minutes.

Strange that the cake didn't rise, it should rise like any of my other cake recipes. Is it possible your baking powder is expired? The cake is definitely more on the sweet side due to all the caramel in it.
