The ingredients needed to make Beef Shawarma:
  1. Take Beef Shawarma
  2. Take 500 g Ribeye steak
  3. Get 2 tbsp Lebanese shawarma seasoning
  4. Make ready 1 tsp all spice
  5. Make ready 1 tsp cinnamon
  6. Make ready 1 White onion
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp Greek style yogurt
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  9. Get Tahini Sauce
  10. Make ready 2 tbsp Tahini
  11. Get 2 tbsp Greek style yogurt
  12. Get 1/2 small Lemon (squeezed)
  13. Get Water
  14. Take Bunch chopped Parsley

  16. Prepare Flatbread (wrap up and eat as a sandwich with tomato and pickle)
  17. Prepare Fries (or any other side)
  18. Prepare Salt
Instructions to make Beef Shawarma:
  1. Tenderise the meat using a mallet or similar then cut it into thin strips about 3-4cm long and put in a bowl
  2. Add 2 tbsp yogurt, the Shawarma seasoning, all spice, cinnamon (and a pinch of salt) to the bowl then mix well
  3. Leave the meat to marinate for about 30 minutes
  4. Chop the onion into strips and put in a saucepan with the vegetable oil and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt to help remove the moisture
  5. Add the marinated meat and leave to cook on a medium heat
  6. For the sauce mix the yoghurt, tahini, lemon juice, and some salt
  7. Add a little water to make the sauce slightly runny
  8. Add the parsley and mix it together
  9. Go back to check on the beef, it should be ready once all the liquid has evaporated
  10. Serve once the meat is cooked
