Crush the walnuts into about 5 mm pieces. Place in a heatproof container and microwave at 600 W for 1.5 minutes.
Grease a microwave-safe petit gateaux mold with oil. Drop a walnut into each.
In a different heatproof container, add the crushed chocolate and butter and microwave for a minute to melt.
Mix the butter and chocolate with a whisk. Add sugar, egg, pancake mix, and cocoa powder. Mix well. (Adjust the amount of sugar to your liking.)
Add any remaining walnuts from Step 2 into the batter.
Using a spoon, pour the chocolate mixture into the mold from a decent height. Make sure each mold is about half full.
